Introduction to E-Book

The most important message a Christian will ever speak to someone and the most important message anyone will ever hear is the salvation message of Jesus Christ.

This message for much of Christendom has been whittled down to about 3 minutes, maybe a couple Scripture and say this prayer and you will be saved. This is very wrong and is creating deception and a false since of security based on partial truths at the most.

The message this book is as in depth as I can give but not all inclusive of course. All my messages on salvation when I preach here in the US and overseas will contain at one time or another all that is spoken of below and even more as I grow in God and a greater knowledge of His word.

John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

John 3:3 NKJV Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Romans 10:9 NKJV that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

These three Scriptures are three of the most used when preaching about salvation especially when there are only a few minutes left at the end of a Christian TV or radio program. Because time is short they give out this weak mini 2-3 minute sermon with enough truth for a gnat. They expect that everyone who repeats the prayer after them are saved and tell them so. You might rarely hear about a five minute long version is some churches at times and I believe there are the few and far between who really give a very clear message concerning salvation in Jesus Christ today. These Scriptures are the word of God and good ones but there is so much more. Many people that don’t know God have seen or heard these before but really don’t have a full understanding of them. They have been used so many times that they have become possibly cliché like the WWJD has over the years.

Why are sinners going to perish and what did they do to deserve such a thing? Why do they need to be born again and what do they need saved from?

1 Timothy 1:15.NKJV..that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners.

Chapter 1- My Great Escape

I was born in 1956 in Ohio and almost died at birth. By the age of four the spiritual battle for my soul was ragging as I had my first known encounter with a demon. I was awakened in the middle of the night and I looked at the wall across from where I was lying on the bottom bunk of my bunk beds. I saw an eight feet high and at least four feet wide giant. My eyes were wide open so I wasn’t dreaming. Is was real and looking at me and I went to scream but fear had gripped me so bad no voice came out. I finally was able to make enough noise to wake up my parents but I think they thought it was just a bad dream. It wasn’t a bad dream. It was my first of many encounters with demons as a child.

As a child I was sick a lot with allergies and sinus problems as well as full blown ADD of which the term as far as I know wasn’t used in the sixties. So every day life was a struggle either being sick or running around like a chicken with it’s head cut off and someone chasing me through the house to stop me.

Since my father was a football coach we moved around a lot. We ended up in a city in Ohio called Kettering. Well the house we lived in was like Amityville Horror for me and I know at times for my whole family especially my father. My bedroom was on the third floor of a dark paneled attic very long, dark and scary. Things were in the ceiling running around almost every night. Probably squirrels. As night time came the terror set in and the torment began as those things children call monsters came out to strike fear in my heart. I slept in terror every night with the covers over my head and don’t you dare look in the closets. That is where they lived, the monsters. I know now these were real as well as the fear and terror because they were demon spirits tormenting a young grade school kid, me. We moved again and for the two years there was no torment at night but life was hard for us all.

Then I believe in 1971 we moved to Bexley, Ohio where my father became head football coach. Even though I didn’t fit in I still made some friends and football and track were my outlet and I did pretty well by my junior an senior years.

It was during my sophomore year a friend’s father brought home from California an album, yes a record album of witches chanting on a hill side. This scared us both as we listened to it. I remember after we played that album in their house that they began to see moving shadows. It was during this time in my life that in the high school library I got a hold of my first books on witchcraft and began to study the craft and even attempt to practice it. It was this time of my life also I began to smoke pot, do acid and drink beer and wine. I would later on in the next two years go down to the occult store in the hood to see what they had. My senior year I got involved with Tarot cards and summoning spirits, which did work. Through years I was involved in the study and practice of many occult and New Age practices. I even owned a Satanic Bible and Ouija Board.

I was being raised Catholic my whole life up to this point. It was again during my fourteenth year that summer my parents had me go on a 10 day bike trip on which we traveled 1100 miles in 10 days. Little did I know it was a Christian ministry and I had been set up by my parents. We prayed before everything we did and of course I was making fun behind the scene. Then we went to that church and something happened there and I don’t remember. But something they did freaked me out and I ran out of the church and hid in the stair well. I think those Jesus Freaks were trying to save me and I and my demons wouldn’t have that. So we ran for cover.

My senior year my father had been diagnosed with lymphoma at the beginning of the football season. He died in May that year 1975 from radiation poisoning. Believe me this didn’t bring me any closer to God because I thought God killed him. This great ignorance of the truth continued on for total for twenty years running from God which had started at fourteen. I tried a little college football but after reading a bodybuilding magazine with Arnold on the front I decided I wanted to get big.

At 21 I opened my gym called O’Brien’s Health Club which was around for twenty years. During the years in my twenties and early thirties which were at the tend of the 70’s and all of the 80’s I was into sex, drugs, rock -n- roll and steroids, married and divorced. and at times dating witches etc. etc. I am not boasting in my sin but to show you how far away from God I was.

As I look back I can remember four very distinct times that God tried to snatch me up and out of the darkness but to no avail because of my pride and hardness of heart. Now I was a pretty messed up guy. I was a coke head towards the end, depressed and anxious to the point I was beginning to take prescription drugs for that. It was the fifth time that God came for me He got me but it wasn’t pretty.

I had begun to see a lady who was into the New Age and we are were talking about going down to South America to go out on a limb after watching the TV movie of the same name. She was beginning to teach me about spiritual healing and things. About this time my old friend and former teacher from my senior year of vocational school called me because he had a stroke and heard I trained people. He wanted me to rehab him. Little did I know that this  would be the Divine setup that finally got me. All three of his nurses were, here we go again, Jesus Freaks. This is only one of the names I called Christians that I can publicly write.  I was asked by him to stay with him at night in case he needed help because he had to have 24/7 care. Of course I obliged because why not make $40 a night sleeping and only getting up every now and then. This again was a part of God’s setup. I was around those ladies even more now as I would arrive and eat the dinner they cooked and talked a little before they left. God knew how to get me their early with free dinner. I have to say they were very nice to me and never tried to really talk much to me about that God stuff. There was one time though I remember them telling me something that really got my attention and very possibly saved my life only weeks later. One of them said that if I ever felt the presence of evil I was to plead the blood of Jesus. Now as you remember I knew the presence of evil since a young child and so much if I said the name Devil or Satan I had tears of fear well up in my eyes. Me being totally ignorant of what they were talking about, I didn’t under stand what they meant. My thoughts were, “Why are they talking about blood.’ That’s grouse.” I remembered what they had said though because of a lifetime of terror. Little did I know that it was those few words that in a short time would keep me from death.

During this time I was also hanging around some backslidden Christian friends who while we were getting drunk told me a lot about Jesus and the Book of Revelation. Not the best witness but God was moving through whomever would allow. It was at their house one night that I had something try to choke me in my sleep. I thought it was just me not swallowing right as I slept so I blew it off as such.

It was the night of October 24th, 1990 while staying at my former teachers’ house I met the Devil face to face. About 3AM I was awakened because I was choking again. There was an invisible hand around my throat and a dark cloud over my bed with red eyes looking down at me. As I was being choked to death I remembered that those Jesus Freaks had told me. I tried to cry out and say, “THE BLOOD OF JESUS!” I couldn’t because no sound was coming out of my mouth as if I were mute which is the same thing that had happened just months earlier and at four years old. I kept saying it in my head but to no avail. Then and I can only say by Divine intervention my throat was loosed and I screamed out, “THE BLOOD OF JESUS!” The dark presence immediately left me. Now the reason I was trying to scream out was because I know if I died I was going to HELL. I was raised Catholic as you know and those Nuns told us about Hell for sure. I knew I had been running from God. I had a split second choice to make during this time of which seemed like minutes but was probably only seconds. Heaven or Hell? Jesus or the Devil? I hated Jesus but He was the only way I knew to keep the Devil from killing me in that moment and taking me to hell. So Jesus it was.

I didn’t fall back to sleep as you well might expect after such a traumatic experience. So I waited through the night until morning the 25th of October when I thought one of those ladies was awake and called them. I told them to  get over here now because I am not going to hell. These faithful ladies came over and told me how to receive Jesus as my Lord and Savior and I did. The rest is history.

After walking with Jesus for over twenty years now of which nineteen have been in ministry, I write this book. Writing about my life as a Christian would take a whole other book many pages greater because of all I’ve been through up to now. I have said my Christian life story would be like a book written by Stephen King the secular horror writer and Frank Peretti the Christian novelist because of

the insanity of all I have been through and God‘s power continuingly delivering me. I will say this that I have learned a lot about my God during all these years. God is faithful. He will never fail you, leave you or forsake you. He will always forgive you and will help you out of every mess you or the Devil get you into. Now I can say in all humility that I not only know about God but I know Him very personally deep and intimately. I now live my life daily in love with the Jesus that saved me and has been with me through thick and thin over all these years now. It is my on going heart’s desire that by His grace I will be a man after His own heart that will do all His will.

I will end with this by speaking to those young people who are trying to find their way through this dark and lonely world and to those people and parents who are praying for those who seem hopeless and impossible to be saved.

Nobody finds God even though we here that said so many times. Romans 3:10 NKJV As it is written: “ There is none righteous, no, not one; 11 There is none who understands; There is none who seeks after God. God finds us and will go to great extremes to encounter us as others are praying for us. The key to those who pray is, never stop and never give up. Faith in God’s word through unrelenting persistent prayers releases great power and binds the power of the Devil and releases the power of God to set the captives free and send laborers, angles and the Holy Spirit to go and get them.

Let me tell you how lost I was. I was so lost it took God five times as you have read over twenty long years to rescue me from myself and the Devil. Young people let me say this. That was my fault. I was a very stupid young man to run from the very God who loved me and wanted to save me from the sickness of sin and the mess it had gotten me into for so long. It was only by His grace I didn’t end up in jail or worse dead and in hell during those twenty years. A couple of my friends died during those years and were lost for all eternity.  Don’t play Russian Roulette with your life. It is to precious in the sight of God. I suffered much because of my hard hearted pride and became a drug addict, drunk, mean, hateful, angry, selfish, a womanizing fool, hurting and wounding others and being hurt and wounded myself. I used to look back and regret the twenty years lost to sin and the Devil because I ran from God and I wanted to live life my way. I did it my way and it almost killed me and sent me to hell. Thank God He heals all the wounds of the past and the regret and now I use it for His glory. For you who are without Jesus right now you might die before God gets to you and can snatch you out of the clutches of Satan whom you are serving and doing his will without God. This is why I tell you my story.

About a year after I was saved and beginning to speak a little publicly I went to a

Full Gospel Businessman’s fellowship at a restaurant here in Columbus since I was a businessman at the time.  A man was there who had tried to lead me to the Lord about 6 years earlier. I had prayed the prayer with him, his wife and niece and then went a partied all weekend with their niece. The point in me saying this is that praying quote, “The Sinners Prayer” didn’t save me and it won’t

save you until your ready to lay down your whole life and give it all to Jesus and in the meantime I hope you don’t die and go to hell. So, “WAKE UP!” This is real as real can be. God is real! The Devil is real!. I’ve personally met them both. Heaven is real and Hell is real! Whether you believe it or not when you die and that could be sooner than later, you will spend eternity in one of those places according to what you do with Jesus while on earth.  So the man stood up and said, “This man, I didn’t think God could save but look what He has done.” I’m not boasting for my stupidity of running from God. The fact is this former Marine, fighter pilot and drunk who was powerfully saved now, had gone to my powerlifting meet to watch me and the insanity of the steroids and heavy weights I and others were lifting and thought me hopeless. He had surly walked into the very pit of hell that day and seen the power of the Devil that had control of me.  BUT! Because of his and others prayers and my mother’s and grandmother’s prayers God got a hold of the man that couldn’t be saved. The man that hated God, hated Christians and Christianity is now a Jesus Freak who travels the nations telling others about the Jesus who saved him. Anyone can be saved if there are those who will hammer heaven and bind the dark powers that are holding the lost in bondage.

My last word is to the youth and I will be very blunt. Read this book. I double dog dare you to read this whole book. It’s shot and I won’t kill you. It will actually give you the chance to receive a new life if you follow what I say. Get your head out of your rear end and wake up. See the mess your life is really in. Turn and follow Jesus so you won’t die in your pain and sins and or regret years lost in what you thought were pleasures but were a hidden prison and Hell on earth for you. No child when they are five years old say they want to grow up and be a drug addict or drunk, prostitute, homeless, abused, divorced, depressed or hell bound.

Probably the greatest phrases spoken by Hell’s residence while still on earth before they were sent to Hell  are, “It’s not for me.” “I’m just not ready yet.” “I’ll do it later.” Hell is populated today with millions who through the ages thought and said these very words. Later never came and now look where they are for all eternity without escape. Do you want that to be you?

Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him. He saved this once messed up and miserable man who couldn’t be saved as thought by others. I now love Jesus and preach to the nations. God can save and heal your messed up life and do the same for you if you will let Him There is no one to lost or messed up or to big of a addict or demonized that He can’t find them and save them and turn their life around.

Stop running. You can’t hide because He is everywhere. He loves you so much He will hunt you down until He gets you or you first die in your sins and go to Hell while running from the One trying to keep you from going there.. By the way, where are you running to? It’s up to you . It is a free gift for all of humanity to receive. And yes in case you were wondering? We are talking to YOU!

Chapter 2- What is a Sinner?

I hope to answer this and other questions through the remainder of this  book. So please be patient and you might learn something new or even have your life eternally changed.

Let me say again that we can no longer make the salvation message, “God has a wonderful plan for your life, pray this prayer with me and now ask Jesus into your heart.” There is really no Biblical foundation for this and it has the horrible possibility of giving it’s hearer a false security of a salvation that probably didn‘t happen. People have to be given a lot more information to base this eternal decision on. The Holy Spirit is very powerful but He can only convict and work through the knowledge based on the amount of truth given. He never usurps anyone’s fee will. The faith needed for someone to believe also comes with the hearing of the word of God and not our nice well meaning words. It is only the combination of the word of God being spoken and the working and ministry of the Holy Spirit that can bring a person unto true salvation.

1Peter 1:23 NKJV having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever,

Romans 10:17 NKJV So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

John 16:8 NKJV And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

1John 1:4 CEV Everyone who sins breaks God's law, because sin is the same as breaking God's law.

Sin in when we break God’s law or commandments

Romans 3:19 CEV We know that everything in the Law was written for those who are under its power. The Law says these things to stop anyone from making excuses and to let God show that the whole world is guilty. 20 God doesn't accept people simply because they obey the Law. No, indeed! All the Law does is to point out our sin.

The law, God’s commandments are to keep us from making excuses about our sins and to show us we are guilty because the law points to our sins.

Romans 3:23 NKJV All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory.

All! Means, ALL! Everybody! Everyone! You! Me! The neighbors! ALL HAVE SINNED! ALL ARE GUILTY AND WITHOUT EXCUSE BEFORE GOD BECAUSE THE LAW BUSTED US OUT & EXPOSED US FOR WHO AND WHAT WE REALLY ARE, SINNERS.

Romans 5:12 CEV Adam sinned, and that sin brought death into the world. Now everyone has sinned, and so everyone must die.18 Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19 Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God. 20 The Law came, so that the full power of sin could be seen. Yet where sin was powerful, God's kindness was even more powerful. 21 Sin ruled by means of death. But God's kindness now rules, and God has accepted us because of Jesus Christ our Lord. This means that we will have eternal life.

We all have sinned but it is Adam that made us sinners. We have just followed what was in us when born, the sinful nature of Adam.

Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin is death.

Sin has a wage we all earn. It’s not the death of when we die and are buried. In (Revelation 2:11) the Bible talks about a second death which is a death that damns us and eternally separates us from God with out hope of ever escaping from Hell.

Luke 16:24 NKJV “Then he cried and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.’ 25 But Abraham said, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things; but now he is comforted and you are tormented. 26 And besides all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us.’

This is the story called, "The Rich Man and Lazarus". The man who had been rich while on earth was in a place after his death where he was dying of thirst, tormented and with a great gulf separating him so there was no way of escape. The rich man had received all his good and wealth while on earth. Lazarus even though very poor and sick went to heaven where he receive his reward.

Mark 9:43 NLT If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched— 44 where ‘ Their worm does not die And the fire is not quenched.’ 45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched—

This doesn’t mean to literally cut something off but to show you hell is so bad that you need to remove from your life whatever is causing the sin. Hell is where the fire is never quenched and the worm never dies.

Matthew 23:33 NLT Jesus says, "Snakes! Sons of vipers! (Pharisees) How will you escape the Judgment of HELL?"

Matthew 25:29-30 NLT Jesus says, "To those who use well what they are given, even MORE will be given, and they will have an ABUNDANCE. But from those who do NOTHING, even what little they have will be taken away. Now throw this USELESS SERVANT into OUTER DARKNESS, where there will be WEEPING & GNASHING OF TEETH."

Matthew 25:41 NLT Jesus says, “Then the King will turn to those on the left and say, ‘Away with you, you cursed ones, into the Eternal Fire (HELL) prepared for the Devil and His Demons."

Matthew 25:46 NLT Jesus says, “And they will go away into Eternal Punishment (HELL), but the Righteous will go into Eternal Life.”

Luke 6:24-26 NLT Jesus says, “What SORROWS AWAITS YOU who are RICH, for you have your only Happiness now. What SORROWS AWAITS YOU who are FAT & PROSPEROUS now, for a time of AWFUL HUNGER awaits you. What SORROWS AWAITS YOU who LAUGH NOW, for YOUR LAUGHING WILL TURN TO MOURNING AND SORROW. What SORROWS AWAITS YOU who are PRAISED BY THE CROWDS, for their Ancestors also Praised FALSE PROPHETS."

Luke 12:5 NLT Jesus says, "I’ll tell you whom to Fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then THROWN INTO HELL. Yes, he’s the one to Fear."

Matt 10:28 NLT Jesus says, “Don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot touch your soul. Fear only God, who can destroy both SOUL AND BODY IN HELL."

Luke 16:19-31 NLT Jesus says in (Luke 16:23-24 only), "His Soul (Rich Man) went to the place of the dead. There, in TORMENT, he saw Abraham in the fardistance with Lazarus at his side. “The rich man shouted, ‘Father Abraham, have some Pity! Send Lazarus over here to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue. I am in anguish in these flames...."

Matt 13:41-43 NLT Jesus says about Himself: "The Son of Man (Jesus) will send His Angels, and they will remove from his Kingdom everything that causes Sin and all who do Evil. And the Angels will throw them into the Fiery Furnace, where there will be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH. Then the Righteous will shine like the sun in their Father’s Kingdom."

Matt 13:49-50 NLT Jesus says, "That is the way it will be at the End of the World. The Angels will come and separate the Wicked people from the Righteous, throwing the Wicked into the FIERY FURNACE, where there will be WEEPING AND GNASHING OF TEETH."

The Word of God says we are all sinners because of Adam and we all have sinned by breaking Gods commandments.

You might say you have never broken His commandments.

Exodus 20 lists God’s Ten Commandments which is His Law He judges us by.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me. (Have you always loved God above all else?)

2. You shall not make yourself an idol. (Have you made a god in your mind that you're more comfortable with, a god to suit yourself?)

3. You shall not take God's name in vain. (Have you ever used God's holy Name as a cuss word?)

4. Remember the Sabbath Day, to keep it holy.

5. Honor your father and mother.

6. You shall not murder. (God considers hatred to be as murder).

7. You shall not commit adultery. ("Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart" (Matthew 5:27-28); this is for a man looking at a woman, a woman looking at man and the same sex that might be looking at another with lust and also includes sex before marriage with anyone).

8. You shall not steal. (Have you ever stolen anything? the value of the item is irrelevant).

9. You shall not lie. (Have you lied even once? Including answering these questions).

10. You shall not covet. (Have you ever jealously desired what belongs to others?)

The Bible says that God will punish all murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, adulterers, idol worshipers, the disobedient, etc. He will even judge our words and thoughts. On Judgment Day, will you be found to be guilty or innocent of breaking His commandments?

Perhaps you think that God is good, and will therefore overlook your sins. But it is His goodness that will make sure that murderers, rapists, thieves, liars, the sexually immoral, etc. receive justice. He would be a corrupt Judge if He turned a blind eye to injustice. Have you kept the Commandments?

The Bible says that the Law is perfect. It commands you to be perfect (Matthew 5:48). Are you perfect (in thought, word, and deed)? Will you make it to Heaven? You may say that you are still good, but God says you're not (Psalm 14:2-3). So one of you is lying, and the Scriptures tell us that it is impossible for God to lie. Remember that all liars will be cast into the Lake of Fire (Revelation 21:8)  God's Law demands justice, and the penalty for sinning against Him is death and Hell.

James 2:10 CEV If you obey every law except one, you are still guilty of breaking them all.

Very simply put if you have only broken one of the commandments your guilty of breaking them all. Anyone who would truly be honest would have to admit breaking  most of them many times during their life.

Chapter 3- Isn't God a Good and Loving God?

Exodus 34:6 NKJV And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, “The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,

God is merciful, gracious, longsuffering and abounding in goodness and truth.

John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

1 John 4:8 NKJV …for God is love.

God is love and all the things mentioned in Exodus 34:6. God is love and He is good all the time. But there is much more to God than only these few characteristics and there's a lot more to Him in the fullness of all He is. This is where people make a grave mistake by not telling of all that God is but only one side of Him, the side that makes everyone feel good.

God is holy and jealous, Joshua 24:19

God is a righteous judge, 2 Samuel 14:8

God’s ways are just and true, Revelation 15:3

God is a consuming fire, Hebrews 12:29

God is a God of wrath, Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

Now you have a fuller view and knowledge about what God is really like in all. He’s all of these all the time and more. God’s love, goodness and mercy do not preclude His anger, wrath and judgment. He’s all the good stuff we like and all the scary stuff we don’t want to hear about and especially experience. He’s the Lion and the Lamb both at the same time. It all depends on what we do with Him while on earth as to which of these characteristics and ways of God we experience first hand.

God loves the whole world but has wrath against all sin.

He’s merciful, gracious, longsuffering and good while at the same time a holy, righteous and a jealous wrathful God who rewards us for all we do on earth in life and with Him.

Exodus 34:14 NKJ (for you shall worship no other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God),

Deuteronomy 4:24 NKJ For the LORD your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God.

Revelation 21:8 NKJV But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

2 Thessalonians 2:9 CEV When the wicked one appears, Satan will pretend to work all kinds of miracles, wonders, and signs. 10 Lost people will be fooled by his evil deeds. They could be saved, but they will refuse to love the truth and

accept it. 11 So God will make sure that they are fooled into believing a lie. 12 All

of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth.

Romans 1:18 NIV The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of men who suppress the truth by their wickedness,

You have only just read a few Scriptures from the Bible of what God will do to those who sinned have against Him and would not receive the truth but live their life own way without God. I could give you a lot more passages. You might be asking yourself why is he hitting this topic so hard. My answer to you is because so few even preach or mentions this subject or these Scriptures anymore.

By the way I must add that God isn’t schizophrenic or on an emotional roller coaster either. He is God and He is Love. He is Good and He is perfect. All He does whether we like it or not is done out of pure, holly, righteous and jealous love. We make the choices, He doesn’t. He only gives use what we ask for even if it’s not spoken by us verbally. Our actions speak louder than our words. He hears and sees all.

Hebrews 4:13 NKJV And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Malachi 3:6 NKJV “ For I am the LORD, I do not change;

God is who He is and will not change nor conform into our image which so many are doing in the world of the lost and the church of today. We shouldn’t try to make Him to fit in our world and our form. We are to submit to His Word and will, are to be conformed into His image and fit into His world and His kingdom which lives forever and ever. He doesn’t do this because He’s a mean, angry, party pooping, buzz killing tyrant. He does it because of His love for us and it’s the only way to keep us from destroying ourselves, others and the world we live in and on.

If you don’t believe this then look at the Godless world today and ask this question, “How is it all working out for humanity on this planet with out GOD right now? Any famine? Any murder? Any rape? Any natural disasters? Any wars? Any sickness and disease? ANY TERRORISM IN THE WORLD? Watch the news; read the paper; surf the web. What do you see? What’s your answer? Is God running this world or are we with the help of some other obvious dark demonic forces?

1 John 5:19 NKJV and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

2 Corinthians 4:3 NKJV But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

Ephesians 2:2 NKJV in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.

Buy the way if you don’t know the Bible very well, I’m speaking about the Devil, Satan who is the spiritual creature behind all of this mess on earth. He works through any submitted person to do all his dirty work in an attempt to destroy God’s creation and man.

Chapter 4- How Will YOU Escape?

Job 34:21 NKJV “For His eyes are on the ways of man,

And He sees all his steps. 22 There is no darkness nor shadow of death

Where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves. 23 For He need not further consider a man, That he should go before God in judgment.

Psalm 139:8  NKJV If I ascend into heaven, You are there;

If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.

Hebrews 4:13 NKJV And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.

Hebrews 2:3 NKJV how shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation,

which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed

to us by those who heard Him,

Are you trembling at His word or at least concerned?

If not, then there's no reason to read on. Your not yet at the place to where your ready to give up all your life, to escape God's wrath and come into a wonderful relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Let me tell you what the Bible says about you who are rejecting God.

John 3: 18 AMP He who believes in Him [who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him] is not judged [he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation]; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already [he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence] because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christ's name.] 19 The [basis of the] judgment (indictment, the test by which men are judged, the ground for the sentence) lies in this: the Light has come into the world, and people have loved the darkness rather than and more than the Light, for their works (deeds) were evil. 20 For every wrongdoer hates (loathes, detests) the Light, and will not come out into the Light but shrinks from it, lest his works (his deeds, his activities, his conduct) be exposed and reproved.

Hebrews 10:26 NKJV For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, 27 but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. 28 Anyone who has rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. 29 Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God

underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a

common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. And again, “The LORD will judge His people.” 31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Simply put, the Bible says God knows, sees and hears all things. There is no hiding from Him.  The word of God also says that all men without Jesus are evil and don't want to come to Jesus because they want to keep doing the evil that they love and they hate God and will be judged for it. Not a good place to be.

There is some good news for those who want to escape God’s wrath and eternal judgment. There is good news for those who want spend the rest of their life on earth serving Jesus and spend all eternity with Him in heaven at the end of their life.

Ezekiel 33:11 NJKV Say to them: ‘As I live,’ says the Lord GOD, ‘I have no

pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his

way and live. Turn, turn from your evil ways! For why should you die?

Psalm 145:8 NKJV The LORD is gracious and full of compassion,

Slow to anger and great in mercy.

9 The LORD is good to all,

And His tender mercies are over all His works.

17 The LORD is righteous in all His ways,

Gracious in all His works.

18 The LORD is near to all who call upon Him,

To all who call upon Him in truth.

19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him;

He also will hear their cry and save them.

20 The LORD preserves all who love Him,

But all the wicked He will destroy.

1 Thessalonians 5:9 NKJV For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2 Peter 3:9 NJKV The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count

slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish

but that all should come to repentance.

Luke 19:10 NKJV for the Son of Man (Jesus Christ) has come to seek and to

save that which was lost.”

John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

that the world through Him might be saved. 18 “He who believes in Him is not

condemned; 21 But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds

may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”

Romans 5:6 NKJV For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ

died for the ungodly. 7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet

perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. 8 But God

demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners,

Christ died for us.

Romans 6:23 NKJV For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord

John 17:2 NKJV as You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him. 3 And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

There is only one way of escape and that is through Jesus Christ.

Chapter 5- Who is This Jesus Guy?

Matthew 3:16 NKJV When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. 17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

John 1:1 NKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it. 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. 15 John bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me is preferred before me, for He was before me.’” 16 And of His fullness we have all received, and grace for grace. 17 For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has seen God at any time. The only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.

Matthew 1:23 NJKV “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.”

John 1:29 NKJV The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Matthew 20:18 NKJV “Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be betrayed to the chief priests and to the scribes; and they will condemn Him to death, 19 and deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock and to scourge and to crucify. And the third day He will rise again.”

Galatians 1:4 NKJV who gave Himself for our sins, that He might deliver us

from this present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

                      

Ephesians 1:7 NKJV In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace

Colossians 1:20 NKJV and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself,

by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace

through the blood of His cross.

Jesus Christ is God’s Son and Sacrificial Lamb. God needed a way to free mankind from the bondages of Satan’s control and sin’s penalty which is eternal separation from God and an eternity in Hell. He needed a pure and holy sacrifice, a sinless sacrifice, a Lamb without spot or blemish which is according to the Old Testament pattern.

Genesis 3:14 NLT Then the Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all animals, domestic and wild. You will crawl on your belly, groveling in the dust as long as you live.15 And I will cause hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”

1 Peter 1:19 NKJV but with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. 20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

God had a plan all along even before the foundation of the earth to bring forth Jesus Christ because He is all knowing, Omniscient and knows the beginning from the end.

Hebrews 4:15 NKJV For we do not have a High Priest (Jesus Christ) who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.

Romans 8:2 NKJV For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Jesus was tempted by Satan himself and in every way imaginable but didn't sin and completely obeyed God and His Law. All Jesus did fulfilled the requirements of the law on our behalf, as a Man, God coming down In human flesh.

Romans 5:17 CEV Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has been so kind to us, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings.18Everyone was going to be punished because Adam sinned. But because of the good thing that Christ has done, God accepts us and gives us the gift of life. 19Adam disobeyed God and caused many others to be sinners. But Jesus obeyed him and will make many people acceptable to God.

It's because of Jesus' obedience He was the acceptable sacrifice of all of our sins who would receive Him.

Hebrews 9:22 NKJV And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission. 23 Therefore it was necessary that the copies of the things in the heavens should be purified with these, but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these. 24 For Christ has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;

Jesus died on the cross, shedding His blood, rose from the dead then went into heaven and presented to God His Father, Himself and His blood as a sacrifice for all of mankind’s sins. Mankind’s only way back to God the Father is through Jesus Christ because of His sacrificial death on our behalf.

John 6:44 NKJV No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day. 65 And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.”

John 10:9 NKJV I (Jesus Christ) am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will

be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.

John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one

comes to the Father except through Me.

I know all this might be hard for many to swallow. The truth is that Jesus is really the only way of escape from the wrath to come because the Bible tells us that. Then you have my radically transformed life as proof all this is real and really works. This I can promise you if your willing to meet His requirements for your great escape. I had a split second choice that night I was being chocked and if I had not chosen God and His way I wouldn’t be writing this right now. This is how serious this message is to those who are reading it. Literally, your life is hanging in the balance between heaven and hell all based on the decision you are making right now as you read this. Indifference or no decision is saying a big fat NO! to God. Here’s the problem with a non decision or saying that you will wait.

2 Peter 3:8 CEV Dear friends, don't forget that for the Lord one day is the same as a thousand years, and a thousand years is the same as one day. 9The Lord isn't slow about keeping his promises, as some people think he is. In fact, God is patient, because he wants everyone to turn from sin and no one to be lost. 10The day of the Lord's return will surprise us like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a loud noise, and the heat will melt the whole universe. Then the earth and

everything on it will be seen for what they are.

God is telling us here that most will be caught off guard at His coming. Those that are still alive at this time will be fooled and deceived so bad that they wont be able to turn to the truth and be able to escape the wrath that is happening then in their face by. Also not one of us has any grantee we will live a long life. We could die at any time and meet God. If that is you are you willing to gamble with your eternal life? I hope not.

Chapter 6- Do You Want to Escape the Wrath to Come?

The way of escape has been made for you. Now you need to know all that God has for you and will expect of you.

Luke 14:25 NKJV Now great multitudes went with Him. And He turned and

said to them, 26 “If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and

mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also,

he cannot be My disciple. 27 And whoever does not bear his cross and

come after Me cannot be My disciple. 28 For which of you, intending to

build a tower, does not sit down first and count the cost, whether he has

enough to finish it— 33 So likewise, whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be My disciple.

Luke 9:23 NKJV Then He said to them all, “If anyone desires to come after Me,

let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. 24 For

whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for

My sake will save it. 25 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole

world, and is himself destroyed or lost? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me

and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in

His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels.

You don’t make a decision that will effect you the rest of your life hear on earth and for eternity, flippantly. You need to know what God will ask of you. Salvation is a free gift received by faith (Ephesians 2:8) but you have to give up all of your life to receive all of His life. With God there are no gray areas and no half ways. It’s either His way all the way or no way for our own good. Many people want a Savior to deliver them from Hell. I call this fire insurance. Few really want a Lord and Master who will rule the rest of their life here on earth even though it’s done all out of love and for our own good. He’s the Creator, Master, Father and God and we are not. Our will has no place in His kingdom accept to do His will.

Matthew 7:21 NKJV “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

I've heard said that the name Savior is used under 40 times and the name Lord is used over four hundred times in the New Testament. Do you think God is trying to get a point across to us? He’s Lord of all or not at all. It’s just the way it is. He’s God and we’re not.

Matthew 4:17 AMP From that time Jesus began to preach, crying out, Repent

(change your mind for the better, heartily amend your ways, with abhorrence

of your past sins), for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. 19 And He said to them, Come after Me [as disciples--letting Me be your

Guide], follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men!

Hebrews 6:1 AMP...the foundation of repentance and abandonment

of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which

you turned] to God,

By faith which is believing what God has said in His Word is truth you have to turn from your old life and sinful ways to Jesus Christ giving you life totally over to Him for the Divine exchange to take place; His life for your life. You give up your life and receive His life. You make a commitment to Him to follow Him and His Word all the days of your life left on earth at any cost and to never look back.

Matthew 10:39 CEV If you try to save your life, you will lose it. But if you give it up for me, you will surely find it.

Luke 9:57 NKJV Now it happened as they journeyed on the road, that someone said to Him, “Lord, I will follow You wherever You go.” 58 And Jesus said to him, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.” 59 Then He said to another, “Follow Me.” But he said, “Lord, let me first go and bury my father.” 60 Jesus said to him, “Let the dead bury their own dead, but you go and preach the kingdom of God.” 61 And another also said, “Lord, I will follow You, but let me first go and bid them farewell who are at my house.” 62 But Jesus said to him, “No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.”

Let me speak for a moment to both the Believer and nonbeliever especially in the developing world countries where persecution is very possible right now.

Here Jesus promises the possibility of homelessness, broken relationships, separation and loneliness to follow Him. In the Western World most of us have no clue about such things let alone the persecution, torture and martyrdom happening in other countries to the church. You couldn't preach a lot of the messages to those people we preach here in the US. They suffer for their faith, go hungry, get kicked out of their homes, are hunted, they run and hid, meet in secret with the looming possibility it might be their last time to gather together and worship God. 1 John 1:8 AMP If we say we have no sin [refusing to admit that we

are sinners], we delude and lead ourselves astray, and the Truth

[which the Gospel presents] is not in us [does not dwell in our

hearts]. 9 If we [freely] admit that we have sinned and confess

our sins, He is faithful and just (true to His own nature and

.promises) and will forgive our sins [dismiss our lawlessness] and

[continuously] cleanse us from all unrighteousness [everything

not in conformity to His will in purpose, thought, and action].

Romans 10:8 AMP But what does it say? The Word (God's message in Christ) is near you, on your lips and in your heart; that is, the Word (the message, the basis and object) of faith which we preach, 9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation.11 The Scripture says, No man who believes in Him [who adheres to, relies on, and trusts in Him] will [ever] be put to shame or be disappointed.

Lord - Greek Lexicon (kyrios) Putting this in my own very simple words is this is what the Greek meaning of the name Lord means when it is spoken of for those of you who might not know yet what a Lexicon is. That’s fine because you know now.

1) he to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has power of deciding; master, lord

a) the possessor and disposer of a thing

1) the owner; one who has control of the person, the master

2) in the state: the sovereign, prince, chief, the Roman emperor

b) is a title of honour expressive of respect and reverence, with which servants greet their master

c) this title is given to: God, the Messiah

If your now willing to totally turn from our old life to follow Jesus in your heart, a decision made in your mind with corresponding actions (See: Matthew 3:8), admit and confess you're a sinner and have sinned against God, believe that Jesus is the only way to receive salvation from the penalty of that sin, your willing for Him to be Lord by allowing your whole life to belong to Him as your Owner and Master (See: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 & 2 Corinthians 5:14-15) in full control with the power to make all decisions for your life and He'll be the possessor and disposer of everything in your life and you will spend the rest of your life adhering to, trusting in, and relying on this truth, the Word of God and Jesus, then your ready to be saved and made to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and escape the wrath to come.

Now just talk to God. He’s a real Person and ready and willing to listen to you speak to Him. He might even speak back. Be real and as honest as possible telling Him all that is on your heart confessing your sinfulness to Him and of your need for Him to help you escape His wrath. Now by a choice of your will turn your life fully over the Him and let Him lead the way from here on out.

This is only the beginning and there is so much more to learn and a relationship to develop with a living loving God who gave His life for you.

The main reason He saved you is not just to keep you from His wrath and Hell even those are really great and important reasons. He saved you for the purpose of establishing a personal and real relationship with you as a son and a daughter and possibly as a close and trusted friend in the years to come.

Romans 8:15 NKJV For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” 16 The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, 17 and if children, then heirs—heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together.

I or no one else can say to you that you are saved but only the Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:15 NKJV “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. 16 You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

Matthew 5:13 NKJV “You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt loses its flavor, how shall it be seasoned? It is then good for nothing but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by men. 14 “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. 16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Bible also tells us we will know the false and true Christians by their fruit and good works.

2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. 21 For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

If you have been saved then you are a whole new person on the inside that never existed before and will even be changing on the outside in speech and

action as you grow and mature in your walk and relationship with God. Through Jesus Christ you've been brought back to God and you're an ambassador for Him now. So get to know Him so you can love Him for who He really is and truly represent Him as He really is in His fullness to others. This can be accomplished by going to a good word preaching Spirit-filled church, studying daily good study bible and praying which is daily talking to God and asking Him to meet specific needs. Let me now give you some personal advice from over 20 years of walking with God. In and of myself without the daily strength and help of Jesus I am a very weak and feeble man. During my walk with God in life and ministry I have experienced almost every crazy thing imaginable that can happen to a Christian and minister in the Western World. No matter how hard and difficult life gets, if it seems like the world, life and the Devil are kicking your brains in never give up, keep seeking God because He will answer. When it seems as if nothing God said in happening especially if you don't understand what God is doing through it all then welcome to earth and real Christianity. I can tell you from years of personal experience that there is only one way to stand and have joy in the most difficult of times. Trust in Jesus and His word, the Bible It has taken me all these to learn how to stand on God’s word and trust Him in the most difficult of times.

This is what I know from my personal experience with God. God will never leave you nor forsake you. God will not let you be tempted beyond what you can stand. God cannot lie, His word can’t ever fail and if God be for us who can be against us? He loves us more than we can imagine and will take us through great trials and any obstacle to bring us as close to Him as we want and to get us where He wants if we will only yield and obey.  My definition of stupid is someone who says they are a Christian and loves God but don’t obey Him and fight Him when He speaks to them to do His will. Please don’t  be that way. It is a horrible example to those around you and it grieves God, the One who loves you and has saved you from the wrath to come.
